A thin piece of chocky bar for applications where low height is required. The product can be used as it is or cut at the seams. The piece is sharp at the edges, which means it is also suitable for cutting applications. Despite their high hardness, chocky bars are easy to install by welding. They feature a double-layer structure, where carbide is cast on top of ordinary, easily weldable high-tensile steel. The combination ensures good impact resistance. Carbide and mild steel are strongly bonded and the surface will not chip.
