The battery charger is approved for fixed installation in motor vehicles, making it easy to integrate into Calix heating system. The charger has an advanced electronic charge control, which protects the battery from overcharging and also allows connection for a longer time. Please note, however, that when partially connected to a heating system, the time limits set on the heater must be observed. The battery charger can be used even if the vehicle has powered devices (e.g. lighting or radio) switched on, in which case the charger can distribute power to the devices used, as well as charge the battery. Thanks to the temperature control of the charging voltage, the charger can be used down/up to -40...+60 °C.
