Introduction to ultrasonic cleaning:

• Ultrasonic cleaning is based on powerful cavitation caused by ultrasonic waves. The microscopic cavitation bubbles that form on the surface of the item being cleaned create powerful pressure shocks, which effectively remove all unwanted impurities from the item without damaging the item itself.
• The item to be cleaned can be rubber, glass, metal, plastic, ceramic and also electronics.
• Ultrasonic cleaning removes dirt, grease and contaminants from many hard-to-reach places that are impossible to clean using other cleaning methods, such as drill holes, cavities and channels. Therefore, it is excellently suited for cleaning carburettors and many other cleaning tasks that would otherwise be nearly impossible.
• The cleaning process works best with cleaning solution specifically designed for ultrasonic cleaners. The solution can also just be water mixed with a little dish detergent. Vinegar, heating oil, hydraulic oil, solvent-based cleaners, etc. can also be used as cleaning solutions. Larger cleaners typically come equipped with a heater, but for smaller cleaners, you can use pre-heated water directly from the tap.
