- Do not place the shelter near pitched roofs, as snow or ice may slide onto the shelter and cause it to collapse.
- Do not store any items on top of or against the shelter walls, and do not lean ladders or similar objects against the shelter. Do not apply any pressure or impacts to the roof or walls from either inside or outside the shelter (for example, snow must not be removed by striking the roof from inside with a rake handle or other sharp objects).
- Do not climb onto or stand on the shelter roof. Collapse of the protective shelter may result in property damage, personal injury or death.
